Project partners from Germany, Italy, Romania and Greece, within the framework of PRIORITY project, cooperated and developed a digital Toolkit, the PRIORITY E-Toolkit that provides high-quality lesson plans and other resources aiming to enhance intercultural dialogue and integration and to create pathways of social inclusion for young people at risk of marginalisation and radicalisation.
The PRIORITY Toolkit includes tested teaching methodologies and educational activities that pertain to art, cultural and sport activities which foster volunteering, active participation and civic engagement. It was developed based on the best practices that are included in the PRIORITY Methodology: cross sectoral best practices in the field of youth work, sports, arts, cultural mediation, civic education, self-development and formal/non-formal education.
The PRIORITY Toolkit is addressed to youth workers, trainers, educators, teachers, municipal youth workers, youth leaders, NGO members as well as other civil society actors that work with youth.
In order to allow an easy reading experience to the reader, the Toolkit has been structured in different chapters which are: • Art as a Tool for Inclusion • Intercultural Mediation as a Tool for Inclusion • Civic Education as a Tool for Inclusion • Sport and Volunteering Approach as a Tool for Inclusion
For each chapter a workshop was designed by using detailed lesson plans that are comprised of energizers, activities and theory presentations. The training material includes PowerPoint presentations and workbooks that can be downloaded and used for implementing the various workshops.
